When the American Revolution first started, it wasn't commonly known that even this part of our history was documented. But this was done mainly by civilians who sat on hilltops painting and drawing what was happening on battlefields. There were also local newspapers that also sent out their reporters that was finalized in written word and the cartoon characters. To this day, both military combat camera and news journalist continues and beyond. What was also notable with black and white photography was with the American Civil War where both the North and South had their own teams of photography groups. The most known individual in the American Civil War is Matthew Brady who worked with the North. However, When WWII broke out, there were 5 Hollywood Directors who all enlisted into the military and contacted the Department of Defense Chief General George C. Marshall, who told how they can contribute in the war effort by documenting WWII and also training military soldiers on how to record combat both on the ground, sea and in the air. These 5 were in a documentary called "Five came Back". Five Came Back is an American documentary based on the 2014 book Five Came Back: A Story of Hollywood and the Second World War by journalist Mark Harris. It was released as a stand-alone documentary in New York and Los Angeles. The documentary focuses on five directors ? John Ford, William Wyler, John Huston, Frank Capra, and George Stevens. During WWII, there were several military and war journalist who were killed in action. One, was an Army combat cameraman who died in a plane crash when it was shot down. There was also a notable Army Air Corp Chief MSgt Doug Morelle who was shot down in three wars and served as a training and documenting these wars. On his first mission flying in a B-17 over Germany. During their bombing mission they were shot down and he had to bail out and spent the rest of his life in a German prisoner camp through the rest of WWII in Europe. He was also shot down during a flying mission over North Korea and had to bail out on this first mission. He was rescued after a couple of days hiding from the North Korean Army. In his first flying mission over North Vietnam he was again had to bail out and barely escaped the North Vietnam Army soldiers who were desperately tried to find him. He just passed away in 2019. This is also continued with both the military combat camera troops and news correspondence in the Korean War, Vietnam and the minor and major conflicts after then. Now, those who visit our future museum complex will see and experience the full stories and history of who documented of United States wars and conflicts to include our military television and radio services and our NATO partners. Those who visit our museum can see and experience the full stories and history of who documented of United States wars and conflicts. Also, you can see those who provided TV a radio services to our troops when they are overseas: Armed Forces TV and Radio Services (AFRTS), Armed Forces Korean TV and radio Network (AFKN). You'll also have an opportunity to hear our active-duty military entertainment groups like the Army's Singing Sergeants and the Air Force Tops in Blue This will also include US military bands, military academies and other military related military bands. Included is our movie theater where all ages can sit back, enjoy snacks and watch everything military to include cartoons. Occasionally, there will also be lectures taking place on military topics where if anyone who are seeking more information about our wars can participate. What's also special that most of the public doesn't have a chance to see is the reenactments of era wars in person.  "We Are All About Education, Entertainment and telling History."

MCCHSM is currently headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. However, the museum complex will be built in Fayetteville NC.  We are currently seeking candidates for our Board of Directors to begin planning and fundraising for our capital project. Then will  proceed with locating vacant property for the museum complex.   The Board Members will be instrumental  in developing the final vision for our  complex. We plan to have one building for the museum and the gift shop will be inside the museum.  The movie theater will also be inside the museum building where it will easily accessible.   Along plenty of parking for guest buses and vehicles.
